The professional
David is an information, experience and design consultant with a wide-ranging skill set and a long record of successful engagements. He is a perceptive analyst who distils practical conclusions from complex detail, and an inventive and resourceful problem-solver who delights in original, well-tailored design solutions.
Before joining Optimal Experience in early 2008, David gained a thorough grounding in usability and interface design, applying used-centred design methods to corporate and government projects of all types. In earlier roles he also developed his skills as an editor and writer, as an industrial designer dealing with physical products and spaces, and as a design educator.
David is a member of the Australian Society of Technical Communicators (NSW), the Computer-Human Interaction Special Interest Group (CHISIG) of the Ergonomics Society of Australia, and the Usability Professionals Association (UPA).
