Jeremy Bluhm, Senior Business Analyst

The professional
Jeremy has over 20 years experience in IT strategic planning, business analysis and IT management. He has worked for a variety of organisations, many in the government sector, in the US and Australia.
As a trained facilitator and accredited mediator Jeremy is highly skilled at working with people at all levels. He uses these skills to understand work processes and requirements through workshops and one-on-one interviews. He is experienced at writing detailed specifications (using use cases, process diagrams and data models) and at analysing data requirements.
Since joining Optimal Experience in early 2010, Jeremy has been working as the lead consultant on an online shop project for the NSW Land & Property Management Authority (LPMA). In this role he has consulted with a range of internal product champions, catalogued product offerings, conducted focus groups with users and collaborated with IT staff.
Previously Jeremy worked for TransGrid, as a business analyst, on several projects including a geographical information system. In his role as Corporate Knowledge & Information Manager at the NSW Department of Commerce he facilitated the strategic planning and development of many e-commerce systems. He has also held various IT management roles in Australia and the US.
Jeremy is the co-author of a book published by the Harvard University Press about corporate decision-making. He is a member of the Data Management Association (DAMA) and was secretary of DAMA in Sydney from 2004-2006.
